My training over my career has led me to work with some of the top Foot and Ankle surgeons in the country.  My practice interests center around the foot and ankle although I currently treat all patients with any orthopaedic problem.  I treat all aspects of foot and ankle conditions including complex reconstruction and sports injuries as well as the common bunion.

It is my practice and my goal to allow early weightbearing after foot and ankle surgery and allow return to activity for my patients as soon as is safely possible.  Current research and techniques are aimed at this goal and I am continually involved in developing treatment plans to approach the most ideal recovery for foot and ankle patients.

While I am new to Troy Orthopaedics I am a lifelong Michigan resident having grown up in Farmington Hills and attended North Farmington High School, the University of Michigan, and Wayne State Medical School.  I am familiar with all of the local schools and enjoy working with athletes with foot and ankle problems at all levels of participation.  I am also very much aware of our aging population in this area and have special interest in the treatment challenges to the elderly patient.

Although I am a surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery, I take a conservative approach with my patients exhausting all possibilities of nonoperative management before surgical intervention is discussed.  Some patients, however, come to me having tried the conservative approach and search me out for surgical treatment and in those patients I am aware of the previous attempts and will discuss all surgical options.

I enjoy working with all patients, and it is my goal to involve you in all aspects of care.  Ultimately, most foot and ankle surgery is elective and the plan for surgery and the recovery involved is a decision that rests with you.  I look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to help you return to the life and activity you wish.
